The concept behind the quality of police seized vehicles is that they are private vehicles that have been confiscated or seized by the police or they have been impounded for quite some time.
In our minds and hearts we tend to hold that these vehicles have been seized by the police because at some point of time they were either acquired illegally or have mean used for unfair play. While many a times these convictions are true, they are not always so. Not only do cars sold at the police seized car auctions come from the ones seized by the police but also from the retired staff and personnel and other officers. These cars are generally auctioned and sold to the highest bidder. And since these cars are auctioned by the police, it is beyond all doubts that these transactions follow an entirely legal procedure.
Since the procedure is entirely foolproof and legal, while you go for an auction of police seized vehicles never be in two minds about it. They sell off the cars to the highest bidder and so you should be carrying enough cash with you. They do not accept checks like the private auctioneers. Before you go, research a bit about the cars that are on your list and you would like to invest in. Besides, carry out a research from the public auctions about the car sales. Finally, you should keep a good note about the time when the auction is held and reach the site early enough to get acquainted with the scenario, check the physical condition of the car and get yourself a better chance.
Police seized vehicles are a good investment if you have checked the market value of the car, its history, and details about the warranty and insurance.
I have been using government and police car auctions for more than 7 years. This is my business. I buy cars at a very low price and resell them later. At the website below you can read a review of the auction which provides me with great car deals every month.

Auto Shipping Via Closed Container
Specialists recommending open auto shipping usually point out that it is considerably easier to load and unload open carriers. As many as 33 carriers can be fully loaded in a matter of 2 hours. It may take as long to load only a single car into a container and then to hoist the container onto the container carrier. The loading-unloading process is entirely different, requiring heavy-duty specialized equipment to be present on pick-up and destination sites. Existing container terminals are not adapted for handling cars and special areas have to be separately provided for the process and for the storage of relevant hardware. Separate and remote areas are also required to ensure the safety of client property. Container carriers manage about half of the number of cars an open carrier does.
The vehicle must be professionally handled and secured inside the container to ensure its safety. It is this careful handling and thorough familiarity of the special equipment used in the process that the security of the vehicle relies on. The container used should be specifically designed not only for a car, but in some cases, even to the model of the car. If it is not, securing it inside the container becomes a very complicated affair. No matter, it still requires careful maneuvering to secure the vehicle within the container. This initial process of loading is where most of the damage to the vehicle will occur, discovered only upon unloading at its destination.
On the other hand, in an open carrier damage results from unauthorized access to the cars, easier with open carriers. Vandalism is not an implausible outcome and with open carriers perpetrators do not have to get near the platforms: in some peculiar cases cars have been known to suffer from hunting-rifle fire - sometimes a sport accident, sometimes unsportsmanlike sport. Unauthorized access to closed container interiors is possible but is more difficult.
Crossing a border into a foreign country is difficult if not impossible for long open-carrier trains. Not every country has the same technology and equipment to handle the situation, and when they do, the varying documentation mandated from country to country may cause shipping delays. If long trains are loaded from manufacturing plants deep within foreign lands, when they reach the border of another country, the vehicles will have to be unloaded from the existing truck and loaded onto carriers capable of their transport on the other side of the border. This process opens up the vehicles to damage and theft. Again, the shipment is delayed.
Trans-Pack is an innovative technological advancement meant to solve such problems. This invention is not available everywhere, however. Not all countries offer closed container shipping to any degree.
What Trans-Rack does is enable the carrier to increase its load of vehicles within closed containers while reducing the cost of transportation by around 25%. It also offers safer loading and unloading to guard against damage to the vehicles. The cars utilizing the Trans-Rack system have a much greater chance of arriving intact and undamaged. Severe experiments have been undertaken which included dropping a loaded container from heights of 5 meters causing harm to the containers but not the interior cargo. Trans-Rack is much easier to load and unload, thereby less time is required in the process. A full container can be loaded in 30 minutes. The system also comes with standardized systems of securing the vehicles which not only makes them safer but helps keeps the cost of transportation down.
Nobody Reads Ads
If cheap prices, the lowest interest rates, humongous cash rebates and free monthly payments worked, we wouldn't be in this mess. The dealers and manufacturers ads scream to anyone who can read, "It has never been easier in history to buy a vehicle!" So why are our showrooms empty? I guess nobody reads ads.
It is NOT about money, rebates or interest rates. What is 'messin' with the minds' of car buyers is their state of mind. Your ads can do nothing to compete with the free, negative advertising the media is promoting. The media's shock and awe campaign is like a war on our business. It is insanity that they should be biting the arm that feeds them. But it is what it is.
My experience as an automobile sales trainer is that some dealerships don't re-focus their energy effectively in the face of economic trials. For many heavy advertisers, these bad economic times result in even more advertising. More dollars, chasing fewer buyers with desperation messages is generally futile. You can't compete with the morning, noon hour and evening news.
If you have been in this industry for a few years, you have experienced a slowdown before. These situations are the perfect storm for dismantling dealerships that base their success on walk-ins. I've seen lean traffic times ravage many dealerships that were extremely profitable in the 'good times.' I am convinced those who survive now will owe it to what they are doing between 'walk-in traffic' in this down economic period.
Why People are NOT rushing into your showroom.
Customers who are overdue to replace their present vehicle are intimidated. They are responding emotionally to the fear-mongering around them. Most people are safe from the economic crunch that has hit our industry. Yes, it seems a lot of folks are impacted, but the facts are only one in seven people are directly hit. For those of us in the industry it feels like we are bushwhacked. But, the rest of the population is not finding their incomes in jeopardy or their mortgages unpaid. And recent government actions will relieve the pain. But your advertising will not drive buyers into your showroom to impact positively on your bottom-line right now.
TAKE ACTION
So your automobile sales consultants have to respond like the professionals they are and target the available buyers. Where are these buyers if not in your showroom?
They are in your past owner bank-some have been ignored for 4 to 7 years-some are orphans not adopted by a sales pro yet-some are in your service department repairing vehicles that really need to be traded-some are coming through sales calls and internet leads. Take action and become profitable.
REFERRALS -Keep what you have while getting someone else's.
Your competitor may very well be ignoring his past owners. Referrals from your current and past owners target potential buyers from other dealers. Solid referrals come from the workplace, the curling rink, the hockey rink, the coffee shop. Anybody you sell or have sold will positively influence their friends and contacts where to buy and from whom to buy. It is not rocket science, but the result will be sales growth from referral clients. But you have to be intentional.
I have clients who have been practicing these principles since day one when we installed Trackstar years ago. Because of this they continue to grow even in down economic times. You need to focus on relationships and maximizing repeat clients and target marketing, be-backs, service orphans, sales orphans, finance contract terminations, internet leads, sales calls. Trackstar does this automatically. See the short video-very profitable information. Just click on the website below.
Take on the elephant
Only your salesperson can change this situation. They will succeed when they reach out to your customers one-on-one. People only buy from people they like and trust. In tough times you have to have your sales team focusing on connecting with people, building trust and relationships, one customer at a time. Focus on selling by appointment. It is worth the effort-appointments have a 35 - 50% closing ratio! You don't need a lot to make money. You eat an elephant one bite at a time.
Time for your sales professionals to step up
People buy vehicles emotionally. It is all about creating emotional appeal in your buyers, one-on-one. Your customers need to be emotionally confident to make the decision to buy in this present market-your ads can't do that. Your car and truck ads don't overcome fear-they only give information.

Automotive Repair Manuals - Auto Mechanic Tips and Information
With today's cars auto repair manuals are crucial for diagnosing and repairing vehicles in a timely manner. However you prefer to access automotive repair information, this article includes some of the most popular companies that specialize in automotive repair information.
Mitchell 1 On Demand is owned by the Snap On corporation and has been a popular choice for automotive repair information for years.
